This event took place in Cornwall, the United Kingdom from 16th till 21st of January 2018. We provided Russian-English Language interpreting and assisted telecom professionals during three days business meeting. British company Flann Microwave met Russian colleagues from TestPribor (Тестприбор) Moscow, to explore business opportunities and possibly sign a cooperation contract.

During the first day, there was interpreting at a company meeting, where participants of Russian and English companies discussed specifics of telecommunication equipment manufacturing. The conversation included special terminology attributed to precise microwave equipment. It was a challenge for Russia-English interpreting as some wording is not widely used in both languages and needed to be memorised on a go.

I provided Russian – English simulations interpreting and document translation for a group of 15 people from English to Russian and vice versa. A meeting assignment for Anglo-Russian business cooperation during three days visit in January 2018.
